Context	Identify a need or opportunity where kowhaiwhai designs can be developed into outcomes that incorporate light (e.g., lamps/lampshades). Develop your prototype using material processing techniques. The final product will be exhibited during the school open day and must reflect the values of the school and the display space. Ideally, the structure of your kowhaiwhai design should be adjustable to fit multiple opportunities within school and for potential buyers. You should be able to explain both the design and the structure of the final outcome.
Specifications	Address a specific need or opportunity based on feedback from end user(s). Demonstrate technical skills in developing a structural form that can be applied in a range of different applications. Be refined and suitable for exhibition.
Requirements	Gather and document user feedback to guide the design process. Show evidence of testing and refining materials and techniques. Develop a prototype that aligns with the identified need and demonstrates functionality. Include a summary component to showcase your process and final prototype at the exhibition.
