Course Introduction

This Term you will be introduced to a range of different Digital Technologies Technologies and Methods for developing Digital Outcomes.

You will also choose from these methods and develop 1 project that creates a quality Digital Outcome(s)

What you decide and plan to make could be an artwork, it could be a design for a new type of building, an animation, music video, 3D print or laser cut outcome, like a pendant or ear rings, or something completely different. There are so many options when working with Digital Technology Tools.

9 Digital Technologies Assessment

In class we will spend a few days on each of the following methods, before you chose your own learning pathway to spend time to learn these skills further.

We will be using a number of Industry standard tools that you can also use at home if you have a laptop or desktop computer.

Blender (3D Sculpting, 2D Animation, 3D Modelling, 3D Print Preparation) (download for free at home www.blender.org )

Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (2D Image Creation and Laser Cutting)

(You can download this software free while you are on the 9dt course. At home, you can use this link https://www.adobe.com/download/creative-cloud) Just sign in with your school email and password, then you can install any of the Adobe software you need.
